Woman headless Body found in Osun
A headless Body if a middle aged woman has been found at Ike-Baala area of Oshigbi, the Osun state Capital.
According to reports, the woman had been homeless for some months, before she was beheaded by suspected ritualists.
Her lifeless body was discovered on a vacant land behind some shops directly opposite Osogbo Local Government Secretariat on Tuesday night.
Sources further revealed that the perpetrators also cut off her two hands, thereby suggesting ritual.
Some traders and shop owners in the vicinity have refused to open their shops for fear of arrest or harassment by the police.
It was further gathered that a teenage girl who was always seen with the woman was discovered to be impregnated by an unknown person, and had since been delivered of a baby.
Meanwhile, residents of the area called on government and other relevant authorities to evacuate the corpse.
At the time of filing this report, efforts are on to evaluate the corpse.
A police source who confirmed the incident said investigation is already ongoing to track down those behind the unfortunate incident.
