Ondo guber: Aiyedatiwa’s Aide rallies support in Ijigba, promises democratic gains to grassroots
A member of the Hospital Management Board, Hon. Nurse Patience Arinola Adamolekun has called on residents of Ijigba Community 1 & 2 to cast their votes for the Governor of Ondo state, His Excellency Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa during the firth coming election on November 16, 2024.
This, she stated is to ensure continuity of the good works he is doing in the State.
Adamolekun, who is also the Treasurer, APC Akure South, Oda Ward 6, Unit 17 made the call during her courtesy visit to the Olujigba of Ijigba Oba Amb Rev Luyi Rotimi at his palace in Ijigba, Kajola community off Oda road, Akure.
She highlighted some of the ongoing programmes which include the health is wealth program targeted the pregnant women for safe pregnancy, labour and delivery, health care for the nursing mothers and under five years children, the community women engagement in all the 18 local government areas, these are being carried out by the Special Adviser for Women Affairs, Dr Seun Bosede Osamaye.
“We also have the Youths entrepreneur empowerment, Aiyedatiwa prepaid meter for improved electricity supply, completion of abandoned road projects,” she said.
Noting that , the Governor is working towards the completion of Oda road dualisation, Adamolekun encouraged the Ijigba Community people to mobilize massively for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the forthcoming election reminding them that the Governor assured to embark on community engagement in order to know their peculiar needs which he assured to work towards meeting those developmental needs.

She informed the Kabiyesi of the Free medical outreach programme to hold on Thursday October 10th at the Ijigba Community Grammar School.
Nurse Patience Arinola Adamolekun assured communicating the state of the community health center to relevant authority for action.
In reaction, The Kabiyesi Oba Amb. Rev. Luyi Rotimi described her visias a blessing to the community using the opportunity to informed her of the Community ongoing projects tagged “ROLIWA” which means roads, light and water projects .
The Kabiyesi said there is a community Health Centre in Ijigba but not functional which has made it difficult for the people to access quality healthcare services.
The roads Olujigba said are very bad including the poor electricity supply as well as non availability of portable water in the Community.
He approved the release of his palace hall for the Free medical outreach schedule for Thursday and promised to continue to support the administration of His Excellency Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The entourage if the visitation among others included APC stalwarts including the APC Unit 17 Ijigba Community Coordinator, Elder Omotoso Ekundayo Bello, other Unit 17 executives are Abudu Ologunaye, Ajayi Falaye, Patrick Adedipe and Rafat Alimi.
The Youths were represented by Daniel Adamolekun and Sunday Benjamin Akande Rafat and the Community women like Victoria Ogundare, Grace Owolanke , Folasade Omoshie and Ifeoluwa Ojo.
