Kwara League of Women Voters, commemorates International Women’s Day
The Nigeria League of Women Voters, Kwara State Chapter, has joyfully celebrated the International Women’s Day, a day dedicated to honour the achievements of women and advocating for gender equality globally.
In a statement issued by the state Chairperson, Hajia Bikiqis Modupe Oladimeji, the Kwara State Chapter of the Nigeria League of Women Voters reiterates its unwavering commitment towards empowering women and promoting their active involvement in the political landscape.

Under the theme “Empowering Women, Inspiring Change,” we stand united in our mission to dismantle barriers, challenges stereotypes, and create opportunities for women to excel in all facets of life.
“Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, we strive to amplify the voices of women and advocate for their rights.
This International Women’s Day, we call upon all stakeholders to rally behind initiatives that advance gender equality, empower women economically and politically, and ensure a more just and inclusive society for all.
