The Hijrah Organization of Nigeria, National Headquarters, Ilorin is holding a workshop for all the Chief Imams across the I6 local government areas in Kwara state.
In an invitation card signed by the Chairman, Hijrah Dawah Committee, Alhaji Imam Yasir Remilekun which was made available to the media, the organization is bringing together all the Chief Imams for brainstorming on their spiritual obligations in the society to enhance spiritual development of their congregation and the entire nation.
The card stated that the activities is slated for 4th Dhul-Qadah, 1444AH, Saturday, 3rd June 2023 at the IMAM Center, opposite Idi praying ground by 9:00am prompt.
The organization under the leadership of Prof. Badmas Olanrewaju Yusuf invites the Chief Imam of Offa, Fadheelat Sheikh Imam Muhyideen Salman to speak on the theme of the workshop, “Towards enhancement capacity and effective of Imams in the State”.
Other speakers include, Hon. Justice Idris Haroon, OFR, Prof. Hamza Abdulraheem to speak on the Sub-themes, which includes; Enriching our Khutbah with relevant examples for better understanding of the worship and leadership responsibilities of the Imams in addition to leading regular Salaat.
Executive Governor of the state, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdur Razaq is expected as the special guest of honour of the day; His Eminence, Mai Martabah, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, OFR is the Royal father of the day; while the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alhaji Sheikh Dr Muhammad Basheer Ibn Imam Solihu, OON will be the spiritual father of the day.
