
Ondo State National Council of Muslim Youth Organisation (NACOMYO), has called on Muslim community of the Sunshine State to cooperate with government at all levels to achieve their set goals and objectives.
The Ondo state Coordinator of the Organisation, Alhaji Yekini Alli made the call in a press release he signed and made available to the media.
Alli who used the medium to felicitate with Muslims all over the world over this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival, said that an atmosphere that is devoid of crisis is the only possible breeding ground for meaningful development.
He tasked Nigerians to cooperate and assist the new administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to lift the country to yet another level of political and economic growth.
He advised the central government to look into ways of ameliorating the adverse effects of oil subsidy on the masses.
Alli also called on the federal government to strongly prevail on Disco companies not to increase the current tariff of electricity consumption as Nigerians are struggling to even pay the existing tariff
“Provision of employment opportunities for the youths should be a watch-word for the government at all levels as meaningful engagement of the youths will go a long way in reducing crime rate in the country.”
He called on Ondo state citizens and beyond to pray assiduously for the quick recovery of Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu because it is in a state of sound health that he can continue his good work in the State.
” Also, religious leaders must work together in salvaging the country through their observation, commitment, prayers and advice”, he noted.
