FOMWAN Felicitates with Yidiat as Otun Agbesinga of Ile-Oluji

It was a moment of joy for the Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN) as they celebrated one of their members in Ile-Oluji, Mrs. Yidiat Najimudeen, who has been coronated as the Otun Agbesinga Obirin of Ile-Oluji Kingdom in the Ile-Oluji Oke Igbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Nigeria.

The State Amirah (President) of the association, Alhaja Medinat Omikunle, expressed satisfaction with Yidiat’s personality, saying that she would perform beyond expectations. “She is a woman of caliber who has been a pillar for the association within her kingdom. We are very proud of her and had to reschedule many of our engagements to celebrate her,” Omikunle said.

She prayed that Allah grant her more strength and the ability to contribute her quota to the development of Islam in her kingdom, the state, and the country at large. “May Allah grant her good health and many years of prosperity,” she added.

“FOMWAN is a formidable association with a structure in place and has been impacting the lives of women in the nooks and crannies of the state, the country, and the world at large.”

In a brief chat, Alhaja Najimudeen expressed optimism about meeting the challenges ahead of her with Allah’s grace and mercy.

In his royal speech, Oba (Dr.) Adetimehin urged people to be more patient with the present economic situation, saying that things will return to normal, as developed countries have once gone through similar challenges.

He also expressed appreciation for the Chief Imam and conveyed his happiness for him. “Those coronated today expressed joy and satisfaction, and we pray that Allah continues to answer their prayers.”

Alhaji Abdul Yekini Ayolo, who gave a short lecture, urged the audience to fear Allah and spend in the way of Islam for a better life in the hereafter.
