FOMWAN congratulates Aiyedatiwa on landmark election victory
The Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN) has extended its congratulations to the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his resounding victory in the recently concluded governorship election held on Saturday, 16th November.
In a statement released by the state President (Amirah) of the Association, Alhaja Medinar Omikunle, described the Governor’s victory as a testament to his competence, exemplary leadership style, and people-oriented policies that have made Ondo State a beacon of progress and development in the nation.
The association also commended Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to inclusive governance, particularly his strides in promoting women’s participation in leadership and decision-making roles.
“Your victory is not just a reflection of the trust reposed in you by the people of Ondo State, but also an endorsement of the transformative policies and programmes that have positively impacted the lives of residents.
We look forward to your continued service to the people and advancement of the state,” the statement read.
The Association also offered prayers for a successful and impactful tenure as the Governor embarks on another journey of leadership.
FOMWAN further expressed optimism that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration would continue to prioritise initiatives that benefit all citizens while maintaining the inclusive approach that has earned him widespread acclaim.
