EndBadGovernance: Reverse fuel subsidy, Osun youths tell Tinubu

As the nationwide hunger protest enters its second day, yesterday residents of Osun State, mainly youths, continued the protest in Osogbo, the state capital, on Friday. They are demanding a reversal of the fuel subsidy removal and a stoppage of naira devaluation.
The #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest began in the state on Thursday. On Friday, the protesters, who gathered at Freedom Park in Osogbo, were accompanied by police operatives, members and officers of the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps, the Nigeria Immigration Service, and operatives of the Department of State Security.
Moving through MDS Road to Olaiya Junction before heading to Odi-Olowo Street in Osogbo, the protesters accused the federal and state governments of inflicting hardship on Nigerians, insisting that the protest would continue until their demands were met.
After returning to Olaiya Junction, the protesters performed ablution and observed Jumaat prayers on the road. Security personnel who accompanied them across town provided cover while the prayers lasted.
After the prayers, led by one of the protesters, the participants dispersed.
