The Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Mobilization, Hon. Bawa Akinsanya Yusuf, called for the establishment of an effective conflict resolution mechanism to address the controversy regarding the purported suspension of the Ondo State APC Chairman by leaders within his ward.
Hon. Yusuf made the call while speaking at his Ogbagi country home over the weekend. He urged the State Working Committee to prioritize peaceful resolutions to the political disagreements concerning the Chairman of the APC, ensuring that the APC in the State remains united and positioned for success in future elections.
He also took the opportunity to congratulate Hon. Esan Owolabi on his nomination as the Executive Chairman candidate for Akoko North West in the upcoming Local Government election scheduled for January 18, 2025. Hon. Yusuf urged his supporters to come out en masse and vote for Hon. Esan Owolabi during the election.
“Considering his vast experience as a former Executive Vice Chairman of Akoko North West and his grassroots connection, humility, and commitment, Hon. Esan Owolabi is undoubtedly the right choice,” Yusuf stated.
He expressed confidence that Hon. Owolabi’s leadership would usher in transformative developments in areas such as agriculture, social services, and economic growth in the local government.
Hon. Yusuf, a former TESCOM Board member and Education Secretary of Akoko North West, also lauded Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Honorable Minister of Interior, Hon Tunji Ojo and other political leaders for their wise and strategic selection for Akoko North West.
