Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Owo Clocks 50, Rolls Out Activities to Mark Celebration

 

Ansar-Ud-Deen Comprehensive High School, Owo, has rolled out a week of activities to mark the celebration of its 50th anniversary.

In a statement released by its Old Students Association and made available to the media, they appreciated the founding fathers of the great school, which was established in 1974.

The statement, released on behalf of the Principal, staff members, and the entire student body, announced a week-long series of activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the institution.

According to the statement, the celebration will commence with a press conference to be held tomorrow, Monday, 28th October, followed by a procession from Otapete, Owo, down to Mobil Filling Station, Ijebu-Owo.

On Tuesday, 29th October, there will be a school debate, while a football match between Imade College and New Church Grammar School, Owo, will take place on Wednesday, 30th October. A career talk will be held on Thursday, 31st October, while Thanksgiving services will be conducted simultaneously at Owo and Ijebu-Owo Central Mosques on Friday.

The celebration will also feature a gala night, which includes the Old Students Reunion, held the same day in the evening at Medoline Events Centre, opposite First Molac, Owo.

The grand finale of the celebration will take place on Saturday, 2nd November, featuring the commissioning of projects and awards presentation.

The celebration will conclude with a Christian Thanksgiving service at St. Andrew Cathedral, Imola Street, Owo, on Sunday, 3rd November.
