
The Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria FOMWAN, Okitipupa chapter in Ondo state , Alfas, Family and Friends have usher farewell prayer on Ogunbayo, a state FOMWAN Dawah officer for her journey to the holy land in Mecca, Saudi Arabia for 2023 holy pilgrimage.
The prayer led by Chief Imam of Okitipupa, Alhaji Kamaldeen Akinyemi Bagudu was offered in commemoration of her birthday held on Thursday at Okitipupa .

Responding, Alhaja Lateefat Ogunbayo who also doubles as the Okitipupa chapter’s Dawah officer thanked Almighty Allah for the opportunity to celebrate the day and for counting her worthy to be one of the intending pilgrims for 2023 hajj exercise.
She prayed fervently and seek a prayer request for Commissioner for Infrastructure Lands and Housing, Ondo state, Engineer Raimi Aminu and all those whom Allah use to make the journey possible.

She also prayed for FOMWAN describing it as the ladder which led to meet her destiny helper while she appreciated every body for celebrating with her she praying that good things will never elude them.
The occasion witnessed members of FOMWAN, Alfas, families and friends of the celebrant offering prayers and singing songs to bid her safe trip to the holy land.

Both Muslims and non Muslims present at the event urged her to pray for them while at the holy land .
A former colleague at her place of work presented her with a cake to rejoice with her on the occasion of her birthday.
