FIDA Ondo State Branch mourns Patron

The Chairperson of the International Federation of Women Lawyers, (FIDA) Nigeria, Ondo State Branch has described the news of the death of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, who until his death was a Patron of the Branch as huge loss to the legal profession, the cause of legal protection for women and children in Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole.

In a statement released by the branch, the Chairperson, Catherine Ogunjebi expressed sadness at the news of the death of the Governor which has been accepted in utmost resignation to the will of God Almighty.

She stated that till his passing, he kept the faith and did well in fulfilling his promises to the cause of protecting women and children in the State through his support for all FIDA programmes.

The Chairperson expressed her condolence to the State government, the legal profession, the Olowo-in-Council, entire people of Ondo State, and the Akeredolu family.

She implored all to continue to pray for his soul to rest peacefully in the bosom of God and for consolation to his family.
