…distributes multivitamins to members
The Chief Imam of Akure Kingdom, Sheik AbdulHakeem Yayi-Akorede has called on the Akure South chapter of Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria FOMWAN, to develop the landed property they just acquired within the next three month.
The Chief Imam gave the advice while speaking at the 2022 get-together event held at the Akure Central Mosque in Akure, the Ondo state capital.

Akorede said they should be determined, pray and work towards their determination, saying that God will always perfect the plans on the pipeline.
” If each member provides a block, that plot would have been developed,” he said.
He described the programme as Sunnah for women to celebrate themselves, expressing his confidence on the national leadership of the association which he noted would always guide them rightly having known that the programme is an approved one from their national secretariat.

In her words, the state Amirah, Alhaja Medinat Omikunle applauded the local government members for their steadfastness, observing that they were among the very few that holds the programme yearly.
She called on other muslim women to join FOMWAN which she said is an association for all women who practice Islamic religion.

The Vice Coordinator of Southwest 2, Alhaja Idayat Jimoh in her message, said the association preaches love among members, following strictly the dictates of the Quran and Sunnah of prophet Mihammed (SAW) and guided by the constitution of the association.
“FOMWAN solicits for more members especially among the youths to promote and uphold the tenets of Islam,” she said.
A Resource person from the Sam Pharmaceutical s, Mr Omotayo Gabriel and Oyin Adewoye sensize participants on Ulcer and blood shortage.

They urged participants to take multivitamins that can replenish the lost nutrients and vitamins in the body and to always consult the health professionals rather than waiting to get sick before going for checkup.
Earlier, the Akure South Amirah, Alhaja Hannah Ibrahim Esinloku thanked members for their mutual passion for islam which she expressed has facilitated the unity and achievements recorded.

Esinloku appreciated people for their supports, pointing specifically to Alhaja Medinat Omooroki, Alhaji AbdulHakeem Akorede and the entire muslim women, praying that God should grant them peace of mind and strength for the development of Islam.
Highlights of the event includes distribution of multivitamins and ulcer drug as well as presentation of awards to outstanding muslim Faithfuls.
