The Chief Imam of Akure, Sheikh AbdulHakeem Yayi Akorede, has described the passage of the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as a big loss to Ondo State, Southwest and the nation as a whole.

A release from the office of the Chief Imam, expressed sadness at the news of the death of Arakunrin Akeredolu, even though it is written that every soul would taste death

Imam Akorede described Governor Akeredolu as one of the best Governors that has ever ruled Ondo State.

He said the Governor exhibited several outstanding qualities that made me nickname him as “Mr. talk and do”.

The Chief Imam expressed his condolence with the Olowo in Council, the Akeredolu family and the entire people the Ondo state

He pray that Almighty Allah would grant the soul of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu eternal rest and pray to Allah to grant the family left behind the fortitude to bear his departure. Amin
