Al-Ameen Holds annual Radio Ramadan Lecture, Organises Iftar
The Association of Muslim Elites of Nigeria, Al-Ameen, will be holding its annual public Radio Ramadan lecture on Orange FM, 94.5 between 7:30and 8:30 am on Saturday,(today), 15th of March,2025
The Association appeal s to every Muslim in the state to listen to the lecture at the scheduled time as the theme focuses on issues affecting the society
The theme for this year’s lecture is Re-engineering Society from the Family Unit: The Islamic Template.
Shaykh Issa Olohunkemi, a member of the Mission Board would deliver the lecture
The society, whose national secretariat is in Emure-Ile in the Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, is also organising a public Iftar (breaking of the fast).
Muslims in the Emure-Ile community, including members of the Asalatu wing of the association, are expected to take part in this Iftar.
The organisation, which was established in 1994 by elite Muslims across Ondo State and beyond, has carried out several Islamic evangelism activities based on a proper understanding of the Islamic faith.
It is currently developing its International Islamic Resource Centre, which will accommodate a standard Islamic-cum-Western institution, a multipurpose hall, an Islamic research centre, among other facilities.
As part of its 2025 Ramadan activities, a four-week special prayer for the peace and progress of the Nigerian nation has already begun, with members reciting the entire Holy Qur’an.
