Succour, as FOMWAN empowers helpless mother of three
The Ondo State Chapter of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria, FOMWAN, has assisted a helpless mother of three with a Nylon production machine to ameliorate her sufferings.
The Association, through its Akure North local government Area chapter, made the presentation with a N10,000 cash donation for materials to start her production process.
Speaking during the presentation at Oba-ile, the Akure North Amirah (President) Alhaja sefiat Salaudeen said the presentation becomes necessary so that she is empowered to take adequate care of her three children, rather than begging for alms on a daily basis before she could make a living.
She noted that the beneficiary’s challenges began when her husband was taken to correctional home at Olokuta and still awaiting trial since few years ago.
She urged the beneficiary to make judicious use of the machine and to also ensure proper understanding of the trade she chose for sustainability.
According to the local government Amirah (President), the Machine was donated by a good Samaritan to enable her have a source of living .
The Akure North FOMWAN Secretary, Asimotu Bankole advised the beneficiary to be more focused, dedicated in her work and service to God so that God will blesses her more.
The trainee or employer, Mrs Ajibike Ajumobi who was also at the presentation, charged her to be more serious in her chosen trade which she said is very lucrative.
The Zonal Coordinator of Akure North FOMWAN, Alhaja Fatima Muraina, advised her to be stronger to face the challenges ahead and to ensure that she adds petty trading as other source of income to boost her trading.
She noted that the state chapter of FOMWAN would further make efforts to see if her husband could regain his freedom from the correctional home if his case is not a criminal one .
The beneficiary, Mrs Esther Ojo appreciated FOMWAN and particularly the donor, praying that God will continue to perfect their ways and accept their donations as an act of worship .
She assured of getting more acquainted with the trade and promised to make judicious use of the machine which she noted will go a long way to relieve her.
She however pleaded to government and relevant agencies and concerned authority to grant her husband amnesty to reunite with his family, particularly her third baby which she delivered in his absence.
