Don’t deviate from Ramadan lessons, FOMWAN urges Muslims
The Federation of Muslim Women in Nigeria (FOMWAN), has urged Muslims to sustain the lessons of Ramadan as they concluded this year’s Ramadan fasting.
FOMWAN in its Sallah message to Muslim ummah, congratulated the true believers on the conclusion of 1445 Ramadan.
The statement which was signed by National Amirah of FOMWAN, Hajia Rafiah Idowu Sanni, described Ramadan as a month of blessings and spiritual rejuvenation when Muslims are move more closer to Allah.
She emphasized the need for Muslims to sustain their commitment and dedication to service God and humanity even after Ramadan fasting.
The FOMWAN National Amirah expressed hope that the challenges facing Nigeria are surmountable with faith in God and change of attitude on the part of the leaders and the led.
She called on Nigerian leaders to always be responsible and responsive to the yearnings and aspirations of the common man.
She also enjoined well-to-do individuals to always extend their benevolence hands to the needy and the less privileged in the spirit of Ramadan fasting which concludes today.
She added that “Islam frowns at someone who has capacity to help others in need but failed to do so.
She urged Nigerians to continue to pray for peace and stability of the country.
