
StandUp for Women Society (SWS), Ondo state council has expressed its condolences over the death of the state former Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
It described the Akeredolu’s death as a total loss to Ondo state and Nigeria in general following his commitment to the development of the state and Nigeria in general.
In a condolence message signed and made available to the public by the State Chairperson, Alhaja Rafat Momoh, she described the former late Governor as a hard-working man who ensured that his people benefit from dividends of democracy which earned him the acronym , Mr talk and do governor.
” He was a unique Governor, Faithful, focused, bold, courageous, forthright, fair-minded, kind and God fearing man who made Ondo state not only peaceful, but a cynosure of all eyes through delivery of dividends of democracy to the people,”
Akeredolu was a diligent servant to his people and would always be remembered for his forthrightness and good governance.
The Association expressed its condolences to his wife, Betty Anyanwu- Akeredolu, immediate family, friends, associates, government and people of Ondo State over his death.
May Almighty God grant him perfect rest and grant his loved ones the fortitude to bear the great loss.
