
Nigerians have been assured that the current pains they are going through on the account of petroleum subsidy removal is temporary sacrifice that will soon culminate into massive turnaround of the Country in all ramifications.
An Ondo state-born Politician and Medical professional, Dr. Paul Akintelure expressed the hope while speaking with Journalists in Akure on the occasion of his Birthday celebration.
Dr. Akintelure, an ally of President Bola Tinubu, said the overwhelming support given the President in the last election was a sure ticket to prosperity and total renaissance of the Nigerian nation.
He said the steps taken so far by the President are clear indications that the former Lagos State Governor is the Messiah been awaited for so long by Nigerians.
While affirming the capacity of the President to fix the country’s Socio- economic problems, Dr. Akintelure pleaded with Nigerians to exercise patience and be hopeful .
“President Bola Tinubu’s political record in Nigeria is obvious and every Nigerian can attest to his ability to restructure Nigeria, tackle insecurity, provide employment for the teeming unemployed youths and facilitate socio -economic development”
” He is a man of proven capacity, a political mentor and a democrat per-excellence”.
“Between 1999 and 2007, we knew how he transformed Lagos State and chart a new path of development for a new Lagos State”.
“This time around, those of us who are closer to him know that he is going to bring his political ideology to bear again in the overall interest of Nigerians”
” So, all we need do is to exercise patience and rally support for him now and always”
Speaking on the health status of the Governor of Ondo state, the medical giant expressed appreciation to the people of the state for their wonderful prayers, saying that the Governor would be back to his seat hale and hearty.
Dr. Akintelure said only God is free from sickness and that at a point in one’s life, every mortal is bound to face health challenge in one way or the other.
He therefore pleaded with the people of Ondo state to sustain their prayers for Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, noting that many Ondo state indigenes outside the state are also praying for the Governor.
He cautioned politicians in the state against politicizing the Governor’s health , describing the development as a politics taken too far .
