
A 65-year old woman named Alice Dayo Adegbenro has reverted to islamic religion in Ilara-Mokin, Ifedore local government area of Ondo state.
She, on Friday September 1, 2023, was reverted to slam by FOMWAN state leaders and the south west zone 11 deputy Coordinator, Alhaja Idayat Ibrahim at the Ilaramokin Central mosque.
Alice Adegbenro, now Aishat Adegbenro has recited the kalimat Shahada (oneness of Allah) and has been led to perform the spiritual birth and as well presented a head cover, praying mat, rosery with a water keg to ease her process of performing prayers (salat).

The Deputy zone 2 Coordinator, Alhaja Idayat Ibrahim, performing the process, urged the reverted faithful to be steady in the worship of Allah and attend women meetings to uphold her faith.
the state Amirah, Alhaja Omikunle Medinat, mandated the leadership of Ifedore FOMWAN to always keep in touch with the reverted and take her along on every islamic activities.
Iya Suna, Hasanat Amuda appreciated God for the life of the reverted, thanking God that FOMWAN came for the occasion which she said means progress to the development of islam.

Treasurer of Ifedore FOMWAN, Abu Rafat expressed happiness to see the reverted back to their midst.
She called on God’s favour for all the muslim people who have reverted to christianity be brought back to islam.
Reacting, Aishat said that she is pleased to return to islam.

Speaking at the ceremony, Aishat said was faced with some challenges which made her accept christianity, but has now reverted to islam.
She therefore, thanked God for His mercies and grace to revert to her former religion, islam because her husband and children are still practising the religion.
