Man kills Son over food in Abia
A man, identified as Marcel Udeh, has been reported to have killed his own son over food in Abia state.
The incident was reported to have happened in Umunneochi local government areas of Abia state.
It was reported that when Udeh discovered that his son had eaten the only remaining food in the pot without his permission, he dash inside his room In anger, brought out a gun and fired at his son, leading to the victim’s death.
Reacting to the incident, the Abia police command spokesperson, Maureen Chinaka said that the incident was reported at the Umunneochi Division, adding that the suspect has been arrested.
“Yes, we got a report at Umunneochi Division, the suspect has been arrested and the matter has been transferred to the SCID for discreet investigation and will be charged to court afterwards,” the spokesperson said.
