We, the Concerned youths of Ifedore Central Local Council development Area wish to join other well meaning Sons and daughters of the Newly created LCDA to appreciate His, Excellency, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and Members of his government for Considering us Worthy of the gesture alongside other benefitting Communities across the length and breadth of Ondo State.
In a statement signed by Ogunleye Victor on behalf of the youths; the youths wish to also recognise the noble role played by the Emeritus Chairman of our great party, the APC. Ondo State, Engr.Ade Adetimehin whose tenure, great things are happening in Ondo State.
“We equally extend the same appreciation to Members of the state House of Assembly for their legislative backing that legalised the establishment.
THE GENESIS OF IFEDORE CENTRAL LCDA
For record purposes, we wish to draw the attention of the good people of the Ifefore Central Local Council development area to the efforts made by some of our leaders which culminated into the feat we are now celebrating today.
This becomes necessary because of some misgivings emanating from the Ifedore Central youth Solidarity movement who for reasons best known to them are trying to distort history!
The move for the realisation of Ifedore local council development Area followed meetings by some critical stakeholders in the area who were poised to have the LCDA created!
The Memo which was mentioned in a Press statement by the Ifedore Solidarity Youth movement in the area signed on the 18th of April 2019 which the group erroneously decided to upturn for Political reasons was a testimony of the struggle by the Concerned stakeholders to have the Newly Created Ifedore central LCDA established.
So, rather than twisting the achievement of these Valued leaders of the LCDA including, Chief J.M Akintoye, Chief J.O Ilebayo, Alhaji Amuda Omolabi,,Barr Ayodele Ojopagogo,Hon.Ayo Agbomuserin, Chief Abiodun Ogunlade, Mr.Michael Ibukun and Mr. J.O Adegunlehin, they remained Founding fathers of the LCDA and their names shall forever be written in gold!
So therefore, members of the Ifedore central Solidarity movement can never and will never assume the position of the LCDA stakeholders under whatever guise.
Also, the agitation and threat by the group to go on hunger strike until a named individual from Ibule Community emerged as the Chairman of the Newly created LCDA is not only laughable but illogical as Major Stakeholders in the Central LCDA had recently conducted interviews for aspiring individuals at the Palace of Alara of Ilaramokin, Oba Abiodun Aderemi Adefehinti by a committee headed by Surveyor H.O Adegbenro as Constituted by the Alara of Ilaramokin, HRM, Oba Aderemi Adefehinti, Adapogun of Ipogun,HRM, Oba Raphael ojo and representative of Olubule, Chief Abiodun Ogunlade .
At the end of the Keenly contested exercise, Chief ( Hon) J.O Ilemobayo emerged as the best candidate.during the interview.
So therefore, the Winner, Chief( Hon) J.O Ilemobayo (from Ipogun) was Unanimously recommended to be the Caretaker Chairman of Ifedore Central LCDA
In the same direction, Hon. Adewumi Alarapon (from Ibule) was also recommended to be a Caretaker Member of the same LCDA.
On the claims that Ipogun Community had enjoyed so many political considerations, we wish to clarify and put on record that the incumbent Chairman of APC in the area is not representing the Newly created Ifedore Central LCDA but the entire Old Ifedore local government.
We wish to state unequivocally that the individual, being projected by the group had served as Supervisory Counsellor under the present administration and whose name has already appeared at ODIEC office for another Counsellorship Election billed for February next year.
Therefore , the claim of the group that all political appointments are domiciled in Ipogun community is Untrue, unfounded and misleading!
Summarily, We wish to appeal to Our Esteemed Kabiyesis, leaders of thought, Community leaders, and the entire good people of Ifedore Central LCDA to discountenance the misleading information contained in the widely circulated Press statement issued by the Ifedore Central youth Solidarity movement as it was filled with lies.
For the umpteenth time, leaders and Respected Kabiyesis in the three major communities making up the Ifedore Central LCDA have done the needful , shown us the direction, the path of dignity and honour which will lead us to Victory.
