APPOINTMENT: MUSWEN CONGRATULATES ALIDU SHUTTI AS ACTING SECRETARY OF NAHCON,
Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria, (MUSWEN), the umbrella body for all Muslim Communities/ Councils and all Muslim organisations in the six (6) states of South West Nigeria : Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Oyo States, express their felicitations to Alhaji Alidu Shutti on his appointment as the Acting Secretary of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.
The congratulatory message was in a statement released by the President of MUSWEN who is also the deputy President- general (South) of Nigeria supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Radaki Oladejo ,FCS which was made available to the media
It said: “Please bring your experience in running Hajj operations, which you have garnered and deployed over the years, to manifestly reflect in this new position of responsibility, for the benefit of the entire Muslim Ummah in Nigeria,” it stayed.
It prayed that Allah (swt) guides him to succeed in the new task and commended the Chairman of NAHCON for what he described as they well thought-out decision of looking inwards to identify an experienced hand, versatile in his operations.
“This is, as opposed to the approach of appointing someone who will still require going through training and induction into the culture and the inner workings of NAHCON. Al hamdu li Llaah, for your painstaking thoroughness, Mr. Chairman.
The statement which prayed that Allah (swt) continue to guide his thoughts and his ways congratulated Alhaji Alidu Shutti, the Acting Secretary and commended the Chairman/CEO, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Prof. Abdullah Usman Saleh, for the thoughtful appointment.
“May Almighty Allah continue to help the organisation, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), as you make efforts towards making Hajj easier for Nigerians,” it said
” We also look forward to fostering a good patnership with you in the South West, as you steer the ship of blissful Hajj for our teeming Muslim brothers and sisters in Nigeria,”it stated
