Adelegbe Flags Off Installation of 3,000 Solar Street Lights Across Owo/Ose

The Chairman of the House Committee on Science Research Institutions and Member representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr) Oluwatimehin Adelegbe, has flagged off the installation of 3,000 solar-powered street lights across various communities within his constituency.

The initiative forms part of his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Owo/Ose Federal Constituency.

Adelegbe stated that the project represents his ongoing efforts towards effective representation and the fulfilment of his electoral promises to the people.

He noted that the initiative has gone beyond the mere provision of street lights along major roads, as it now includes personalised installations to ensure that churches, mosques, security offices, and the residences of notable community and political leaders — including the heads of non-indigenes and traditional rulers — also benefit.
