No fewer than 387 Osun State Muslim pilgrims comprising female and male who went to
Saudi Arabia have arrived successfully in Lagos.

Similarly, the second batch of the pilgrims of about 385 are being expected .

The Secretary of the Board, Mr Bolaji Sanni in a press statement issued to newsmen on behalf of the Amir Hajj, Sheik Moruf Ishola, disclosed this in the early hours of today

In the statement ,Sheik Ishola also disclosed that the second batch of the 385 contingent has already departed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and due to land at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos any moment from now.

Expressing his delight over the development, Sheik Ishola described the successful completion of all Hajj rites in 2023 by the Osun muslim contingent as a thing of joy and total glorification to the Almighty Allah for His love and mercies on the male and female pilgrims.

While particularly thanking and appreciating Almighty Allah, the Amir similarly appreciated the governor of Osun state, Senator Ademola Adeleke for graciously approving and providing all the necessary wherewithal that culminated into the success story of the holy journey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In the meantime, a cross section of the male and female pilgrims who also acknowledged the successful completion of all the Hajj rites in the holy land also appreciated Allah and the government of Osun state through the state Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board for making it easy and comfortable for them to serve Allah and His Prophet, Mohammad ( PBUH) in Makkah and Medinah successfully.

Meanwhile, the remaining new Alhajis and Alhajas are looking forward to be airlifted in the coming days from Jiddah International airport in Saudi Arabia as the Osun state Muslim pilgrims welfare board in conjunction with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria( NAHCON) are not leaving any stone unturned to make the journey back home hitch free.
