Breaking: Prominent Chief Imam Kidnapped In Ondo

Alhaji Ibrahim Bodunde Oyinlade who is the Chief Imam of Uso community, a town along Owo-Akure highway, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

SUNSHINETRUTH gathered that the Islamic Cleric was abducted at his farm in the town, Owo local government area of Ondo State.

Alhaji Ibrahim Oyinlade, aged 67, was abducted at Asolo Farm Camp, Uso at around 3:00pm today Saturday.

A family member confirmed that the kidnappers had contacted the family but yet to demand for ransome as at the time of filing in this report.

Reacting, the Spokesperson of the Ondo State Police Command, Mrs Funmi Odunlami confirmed that the case had been reported at the Uso Divisional Police station, adding that the DPO and his men with local vigilantes are currently in the bush to search for the Islamic cleric.

The PPRO said, “at about 6pm today, a report was made at Uso Divisional hq, that the chief imam of USO went to his farm in the morning and did not return, he was later traced to the farm by his people, they saw his phone and his vehicle intact but couldn’t find the man, the DPO and his men with local vigilantes are currently in the bush to trace / found the where about of the man.”
