The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Borno State Council has congrated the first set of appointments made by the government of governor Babagana Zulum mostly media appointees.

Congratulated Mallam Isa Gusau and a former nuj chairman Comrade Baba Sheik Haruna on their reappointments as Special Adviser SA and Senior Special Assistant SSA to Governor Babagana Zulum on media.
The Chairman of the Council Comrade Dauda Iliya on behalf of the entire practicing journalists in the state lauded the Governor for reappointing the seasoned journalists who are still playing active roles in programs of the union in the state.
Comrade Iliya added that considering their pedigree and professional background, the appointees would no doubt bring their vast wealth of experience garnered over the years in projecting and promoting the image of the Governor as well as to continue to bridge communication gaps to avoid giving room for speculation and misinformation.
NUJ Borno State Council equally felicitates with it’s one-time Council Secretary Umar Tijjani on his appointment as the General Manager of Borno Radio Television Corporation.
The Union recalls the role played by the new General Manager to the growth and development of the Union in the state and urged him to work assiduously towards repositioning the station to enable it regain its lost glory.
The release assured all the appointees of the unflinching support and cooperation of the union and wished them successful tenure of office.
