Aiyedatiwa’s victory, affirmation of God, people’s love – COMWA
The Ondo State Chairperson of Coalition of Muslim Women for Association COMWA , Alhaja Halimat Adam has congratulated the state Governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the forthcoming gubernatorial election, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his landslide victory at the last Saturday’s primary election.
She described his victory as an affirmation of God’s and people’s love for the visionary Governor, saying he has continued to put smiles on the faces of people of the Sunshine State through his life changing projects.
These were contained in a statement she personally signed and made available to the public.
It would be recalled, that Governor Aiyedatiwa was declared winner of the Saturday’s primary election by the APC Primary Election Committee headed by Kogi State Governor, Mr Usman Ododo after winning 16 out of the 18 eighteen local government areas in the state.
According to the statement; “Your vision, hunger for progress and development of our Sunshine State is evident in the transformative steps you have taken so far and it gladdens the heart to see the anticipated changes which have already begun to unfold.
“The massive turnout of people during the exercise was a testimony of the Governor’s acceptability by members, leaders, elders and people of the State. It is also, an an endorsement to continue leading the state to its place of pride.
“Let me also use this medium to appeal to other aspirants to see APC as one big indivisible family and embrace the hand of fellowship extended to them by Governor Aiyedatiwa which would further strengthen the party in its quest to win the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
She, however, prayed, that the Almighty God will continue to bless the Governor with more wisdom to further implement series of people-oriented projects and make worker’s welfare his topmost priority among others.
