Eld-el-Fitr : Olodeke of Ekan Ikare greets Muslims, pleads for Ikare Mosque reopening
Chairman, Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, NSCIA, Akoko North East Local government, Alhaji Chief Abdulganiyu Imam, the Olodeke of Ekan Ikare, has felicitated with all Muslims over the celebration of the 2024 year Eld-el- Fitr .
In a press statement, he personally signed and made available to the media, Alhaji Abdulganiyu called on the Governor of Ondo state, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to order the reopening of Ikare Central mosque for the Chief Imam of Ikare, Imam Abbas Abubakar Muhammad.
He stated that Ikare Muslim community is one and fully behind the Chief Imam.
Alhaji Abdulganiyu enjoined Muslim faithfuls to continue to carry the lessons and sermons heard during the month of Ramadan and beyond.
While expressing his happiness on witnessing this year’s Ramadan, he sends the message of peace and good tidings to all Muslims, praying that Almighty Allah accepts all faithfuls ibadah.
Olodeke strongly believed, that Muslim faithfuls have been rejuvenated on the true meaning and essence of life through the teachings of the prophet and have learnt to imbibe the virtues of piety, sacrifice, love and good conduct as well as daily relationship with one another.
He however, prayed for the Olukare of Ikare Kingdom, His Royal magesty Oba Akadiri Saliu Momoh 4, for Long life with good health.
